Preparation<\/h2>\n<ul>\n \t<li>Make sure that the pipe and fitting are suitable for the diameter and material type.<\/li>\n \t<li>Install the electrofusion machine on a flat and dry surface.<\/li>\n \t<li>Make sure it is operating at the appropriate voltage (usually 230V).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>2. Cleaning and Marking of Pipe Ends<\/h2>\n<ul>\n \t<li>The pipe surface must be cleaned of the oxide layer. Use <strong>a pipe scraper<\/strong> for this operation. <\/li>\n \t<li>Welding should never be done without cleaning the surface.<\/li>\n \t<li>A marking is made on the pipe up to the center of the fitting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>3.
